Who we help
1. A service for people who want to prepare their move carefully
This service is for individuals and couples planning to retire in Spain from the United States who want support throughout the move. You do not need to have chosen a city, a home, or an exact moving date yet.
Planning ahead
For people who want to compare their options before making major commitments.
Moving as a couple
For couples whose timelines, residence status, or personal needs may not be exactly the same.
Assets in two countries
For people who will keep pensions, investments, real estate, or business interests in the United States.
Help when you arrive
For people who want support from the first planning stages through their first weeks in Spain.
A service built around your needs
2. What we can help with
No two moves are the same. Once we understand your situation, we prepare a proposal that includes only the support you actually need.
Assessment and relocation plan
We review your goals, family situation, expected timeline, and the decisions that still need to be made.
Residence and documentation
We help identify the appropriate residence route, prepare the documents, and complete the legal work included in your proposal.
Tax matters in Spain and the United States
We coordinate the review of tax residence, pensions, investments, real estate, and other matters that may affect both countries.
Healthcare and private insurance
We help you understand the coverage you may need, compare alternatives, and arrange a policy when this is included in the service.
Choosing a city and finding a home
We help define what you are looking for, identify suitable homes, arrange viewings, and support you through negotiations and signing.
Settling in Spain
Banking, local registration, identification documents, utilities, phone service, insurance, and other arrangements listed in your proposal.
Spouse, family members, and pets
We consider everyone's needs so the move is planned as one family project.
Help during your first weeks
We follow up on outstanding matters and help with the practical arrangements included for your arrival.
Before work begins, you receive a written proposal explaining what is included, who will handle each matter, and the applicable fees.
You decide whom you want to work with
3. Work with our attorney or keep your own professionals
Spain Relocate has an attorney available for residence and immigration matters. If you already have an attorney, tax advisor, or another trusted professional, we can work with that person and avoid duplicating work.
If your case calls for expertise outside our usual team, we can help find the right specialist. Before anyone new becomes involved, we explain what that professional will do and what the additional fee will be.
Spain Relocate's team
We manage the overall move and can include our attorney's work in your proposal.
Your trusted professionals
We coordinate with them so everyone works from the same information and timeline.
Your attorney, tax advisor, financial advisor, or medical professional is responsible for their recommendations. We make sure the work stays coordinated.
From the first call to your arrival
4. How the process works
Initial call
We learn about your plans, your expected timing, and where you may need help.
Basic documents
We request enough information to understand the work involved. No professional recommendations are made at this stage.
Proposal and fees
We explain what we will do, who will be involved, what is not included, the cost, and the payment terms.
Professional review and plan
After you accept the proposal and make the required payment, the professionals review the documents and we prepare the plan.
Managing the move
We complete each agreed step at the right time and keep you informed along the way.
Arrival and settling in
We assist with the agreed arrangements to make your first steps in Spain easier.
Our role
5. One point of contact throughout the process
We do more than complete paperwork. We organize the work of everyone involved, make sure the steps happen in the right order, and keep you informed so you do not have to chase several providers yourself.
