A separate residence authorization may be considered while the citizenship application continues, provided you meet the requirements of the chosen route. A pending citizenship application does not by itself create a right to reside in Spain.
Does the non-lucrative visa allow remote work from Spain?
The non-lucrative residence visa is intended for living in Spain without carrying out employment or professional activity. If you will work remotely, the digital nomad visa or another route compatible with the actual activity should be reviewed.
Does applying for residence affect the citizenship application?
They are separate processes. Residence does not accelerate, replace, or guarantee citizenship. Before filing another application, it is important to coordinate documents, dates, and possible immigration, tax, and family consequences.
Can Spain Relocate speed up or unblock my consular application?
No. We cannot speed up or guarantee the outcome of a consular citizenship application. Our role is to review a separate residence route and coordinate your move to Spain while the citizenship process continues.
